It has been awhile since I have created anything. My 6-week-old baby has been having some scary health problems which I won't go into detail about. (If you're really bored you can read about it on my personal blog by
clicking here.) During the past few days things have started to settle down and I have really been needing an outlet, so I decided to create a kit. (To those who have contacted me, sorry that I have not replied to my emails!)
Throughout all of the tests our sweet baby has had to go through, ever since we have been home from the hospital she has just been smiling and happy. This kit is titled "Happiness" to remind us that even when we are going through tough times we can still find something to be happy about.

Wow - I read your post on your other blog. I hope that your daughter turns out just fine!
Your post also brought back memories of my (now 9) son's spinal tap the day he was born. And the MRI he had when he was one.. to check to see if the problem with his eyes was not caused by infection.
It's all really scary and things turned out ok in the end. I hope it does for you too.

My thoughts and prayers are with baby Claire and your family. I went through similar with my oldest son having seizures when he was born. He had gotten an infection in utero that caused a lesion on his brain which caused seizures. He is now a big, tall, healthy, 14 year old! I understand how scary things are right now. But, I can tell you are a strong woman and will get through it just fine.
All those beautiful smiles of Claires are a very good sign!

And I just wanted to say I'm sorry for the loss of your Mom. I am two years younger than she would be. I lost my Mom 10 years ago, she was 69. I can relate to everything you say - the first everything without her. I pray for peace in your heart and openness of your spirit to feel her love surrounding you. My own Mom sends me a sign when she is close and it becomes more intense/frequent when there is something going on that is not good that I don't know about.
