Thank you!

Everyone, I just want to thank you all so much! Thank you for congratulating me on our new little baby and for letting me know you think she's beautiful. Thank you for complimenting the kits and taking the time to tell me that you're grateful for them. Thank you to those of you who have emailed me and shared with me the layouts you have designed using my kits (it is so great to see them!) You are all just so kind and it gets me excited to create more. (I'll get around to it soon, life has just been busy with the 4 little ones!)

To answer some questions:

1. No, I do not sell my kits anywhere. I had begun to with a digital scrapbook website, but have since decided not to. This is mainly because with raising 4 kids (and I already have a photo announcement business on the side), I do not want to feel pressured into creating kits at a deadline. It's much more fun for me to just create them as I go, depending on what color scheme comes to mind.

2. Some of you have asked how I design this stuff. I have one word...brushes! At least, that's what I use to add the finishing touches. But I'll look at all sorts of websites (clothes, quilt fabrics, wallpaper, etc.) to get inspired for colors and patterns. If anyone has specific questions on how I do something, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer. (I prefer you ask me in an email since I check that daily and I only check my blog every so often.)

3. Some have wanted to know my baby's name. We named her Claire (this is my dad's middle name and grandpa's first name...only their's doesn't have an "e" at the end!)

4. LOTS of you have asked that since I have a new baby, where have I found the time to create these kits? The majority of them were created awhile back. The kits Beautimous, Boy Oh Boy, and Relax were all done in the last month of my pregnancy (I created kits in my "nesting" stage), and then the Vintage Oreos was created during Spring Break when my in-laws had the 3 other kids. So now I am just doing bits and pieces for a new kit and I will post it once it's completed.

Thank you all for corresponding with me. I have had people from all over the world write to me and it has just been so fun to hear from you! Hopefully my next post will be a new kit, and hopefully it won't take too long for me to post it!
