Two quick answers...

The first answer is about the Giving kit. A few of you have asked if you can use it for your family Christmas card. Please feel free! And if you do, I would love to see what you create...it's fun to put faces to names!

The second answer is in regards to my baby Claire. She is doing SO GOOD!!! Since she had the tumor removed during brain surgery in August, she has been seizure free (that's 108 days to be exact...but who's counting?...um, me!!!) We've started cutting back on one of her medications, and she'll do another EEG in a couple weeks to see if we can completely eliminate one medication (they want her to stay on the other for a year). She's growing great, she's eating well, she's developing normally...it's truly a miracle. And we experienced one more miracle with her. If you want to read it, click here. Thank you for asking. We are just enjoying her perfection for the moment. For those who didn't know, with the Tuberous Sclerosis disease that she has, at any moment her body can grow tumors on organs such as brain, eyes, kidneys, heart. So far the brain was the only thing affected and after her surgery it looks like although she's got a larger then an egg hole in her brain, it is functioning perfectly and she is doing well. The fingers are crossed, the prayers never stop, and our love for her grows more and more each day.

Thank you for caring, and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

A miracle indeed! And so it is.... the update brought tears to my eyes. You are a very blessed family. And thank goodness the doctor followed the voice that guided him that day during surgery. Thank goodness he has the wisdom to listen to it :)

Aah she's so gorgeous, I'm glad her surgery went well and you're able to cut down on one of the meds. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful designs. I downloaded a few sheets from the Giving papers and you can see a card I've made using it (the snowman card) - http://liverpoollou.blogspot.com/search/label/Cards
Once again thank you so much. And good luck for the future

Hey, I’m a stalker of your blog because I LOVE the designs you do. I am very interested in learning to design as well but I’m not sure where to start. I already own photoshop CS4 for my scrapbooking and I’d love to learn to design kits myself. I researched it with Google but it is hard for me to tell what the best materials to get me started are, most of the websites I’ve found require you to pay. I don’t mind spending money I just don’t want to waste money on useless stuff. Are there any websites or people you can refer me to that helped you get started designing? I’d really appreciate it if you could let me know!
Thanks. cristiranae@gmail.com

What a miracle about Claire!! That is truly an amazing blessing!

I used your kit to make my Christmas Card--it's posted on my blog if you want to take a look. One of my kids didn't cooperate when I was trying to take their pictures for it...oh well! It turned out cute anyway!! Thanks SO much for your generosity in giving away the beautiful kits!!

Thanks so much for all your beautiful kits and I'm so happy to hear that both you and your friend's beautiful baby girls are doing well. My first baby was born on February 15, 2008 so she is very close in age to your little one! I can't imagine how hard it would be to have to deal with what you both have and am happy that God has blessed and taken care of such precious little gifts from Him!!!

Hi! I've been following both blogs (this and your family one) for a little bit now and I wanted to let you know I'm so excited to hear the great news about your daughter! Also, I've always loved your papers but had no clue how to make anything with them - until yesterday when I decided to figure it out! I just downloaded all of your papers and put together my birthday invite and have been having TONS of fun making Gift Certificate templates (you can see them here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/3lilmonkeys/)

Anyway, I wanted to thank you for being so generous with these!

I'm so glad your daughter is doing well. She's adorable! I had been meaning to donate for your friends Kari and kept getting side-tracked. I'm sorry it took so long, but hopefully it can still be put to use. She is in my prayers. Thank you for the amazing kits!
