As promised I have created a birthday kit using the first runner up from the Color Combination Contest (great colors Moe!)
I loved to make this kit because everything about it screamed fun! And that's how birthdays should be! (However, for some reason my birthdays seemed so much more fun as a little girl then they do now...now I do not WANT to get older! Does anyone feel the same?)

This kit is also to pay tribute to my sweet Claire. She is turning 1 in only 2 weeks and I cannot believe how fast the time has flown and how much this sweetie has been through. Since her brain tumor removal on August 11th, she has been seizure-free! That is over 6 months of perfection! No new tumors have shown up from her Tuberous Sclerosis disease, and at the moment, she is perfectly healthy and progressing right along with the milestones of where she should be. She will have an EEG next week to determine if we can take her off one of her medications. Thank you all for your prayers and support. We have been truly blessed! I love you sweet Claire Bear! (Here are some pictures I just took of her to use for her birthday announcement).

I sit here with tears of JOY in my eyes Summer darlin' as my eyes feast upon the GORGEOUS photos of your PRECIOUS Claire. I, too, continue to keep your family in my thoughts and my prayers. It is such a blessing to see Clair looking SO vibrant and playful! What a DOLL!
A little side note, we just had the FIRST granddaughter born on the Posten (my fiance') side of the family and would you believe her name is Claire? LOL! Claire Marie was born January 7th and every time I think of one, I think of the other!

Little Claire is so beautiful. I can't believe she's already a year old. I've been praying for her. I'm glad everything is going so well.
My friend who follows your blog said "you have to see this blog, her daughter has TS too" I was like it could be the same, or it could be something similar b/c I had never met anyone (besides at the TS walks and clinics) with TS. So, yeah my daughter 2 years old has Tuberous sclerosis too. She has brain tubers, but no surgery so far. Glad your daughter is seizure free!!! How amazing for your family to see that happening! Maybe we can come into better contact with this rare similarity! -Sarah

I've never done any digital scrapbooking before, but I took a class, and the teacher recommended I check out your site... so I just downloaded my first kit (this one) and I'm excited to try it out!
