I will not lie. I am a total introvert. Crowds and I don't mix too well. Let's just say it's a big service for me to take my oldest daughter to the mall....I'd much rather prefer a Marshalls or TJ Maxx. I've only been to one concert....the Monkees....5th grade. I get nervous when my husband wants me to go with him to his work parties and I find that when I'm there, I tend to "step outside" and call to check in with my kids or call my sister and chat. When it comes to having friends, quality is better than quantity for me. Do not get me wrong, I enjoy people and I value my time spent with people. I just prefer really getting to know about people rather that the surface "Hi, how'ya doin?" conversations.
Naturally, I love to be at home.
When I was a child, I loved walking into my candle-lit home that smelled like pumpkin bread in the fall, cinnamon in the winter, flowers in the spring, and fruit in the summer. My mom always had music playing, whether it be classical, ABBA, or the Beatles. When my siblings and I came home from school, a bowl of popcorn and sliced apples were waiting for us....and if it was Friday, there would be a plate of chocolate chip cookies too. Home was a place where I felt safe. It was like my north star. I knew that when I came home, love would be present and I was blessed to have a family who cared for each other (of course we had sibling rivalry and teasing mixed in there too).
It's unique to me that my kids are a mixture of introverts, extraverts and ambiverts. But regardless of their social preferences and needs, they all love to be home. That makes me happy and I hope that as they grow even older that they still want to call their house "home."
I hope you enjoy this kit and that you can find someplace or someone that you can call "home."

So many thanks for this great kit! I am not good in positioning the elemnts at the apers, so I`m using the papers allone. But: the papers are so beautiful and perfect for cardmaking - I love them.

i know exactly what you are talking about! i am an introvert, too - AND i truly love people and have tons of friends - but i tire out quickly in huge parties (although i enjoy them for about an hour - that's the limit of my endurance); and i love spending quiet time at home. But, i have found that if i have solid time at home, i can then enjoy social activities much more easily - especially if those social times aren't stacked back-to-back (like at holiday times!). Thanks for this gorgeous kit! i already have photos in mind that will look great with this kit!
sometimes, other people find that being an introvert is not normal, that we are all VERY social beings. to a degree we are...and i think most introverts are also artistic. thanks for sharing ur art with us. this is huge and i appreciate ur staying at home =) and making this for all of us.
